Another hard fought win today, Overall the boys and our new girl Amy had to work really hard for their victory on home soil on a rainy autumn Sunday morning. Winning three and drawing one of the four games does not tell the whole story. Clevedon arrived with a really professional looking outfit and a big group of players. Once again this did not put Broad Plain under 7s off in the slightest. Rising to the occasion as always we really did run some brilliant lines and looked really determined all the way through. One of the players who showed this most was Harry B, his hunger to win the ball on the floor at every opportunity and real natural focus every time he plays is a real joy to watch.

This team are really growing together as a group but also accepting new additions with open arms, this was evident on Sunday when our new player Amy was welcomed to the team. with a nice round of applause Amy seemed to settle very quickly in to the game environment and even went on to score a try in the final game. This was without any training sessions under her belt so it looks like we have gained another real natural.

One thing that has been worked on in training is supporting your team mates at all times. The player that showed this the most this week was Archie. Seeming to be on everyone's shoulder at all times it almost felt like there are two of him on the pitch. One moment of brilliance and fantastic support play came just before half time in the final game. Harry B made a typical Harry B dart for the line and got tagged (somehow) and Archie was right on his shoulder, bursting through two opposition taggers, running a brilliant straight line and went straight through over the whitewash.

Once again a great all round team performance with a few stand out individual displays. What more could be asked for on a Sunday morning!!!!!
