It was the first time some of our players took part in a tournament and I think it's fair to say all the kids enjoyed it. We saw some fantastic performances from some individuals and huge improvements made to their games.

We started off well with a 6 - 2 win over old Bristolians which gave everyone some confidence. We then drew 3 all with St Brendans 3rds and then a tough 1 all draw with Clifton. We then beat St Brendans 2nds 5 -2 and finished second in the pool.

Whilst we didn't win any silverware this time it was great to play some good quality teams and the players should all be pleased with their performances. We do need to work on going in for tackles and this will be addressed in training. But overall a great day for the under 9s.
